NextEra Energy Maintains Dividend
The lights of NextEra Energy's dividend are continuing to glow. The company has declared its latest quarterly common stock distribution, which is to be $0.66 per share, paid on Dec. 16 to shareholders of record as of Nov. 29. That amount matches each of the firm's three preceding distributions, the most recent of which was dispensed in September. Prior to that, NextEra was less generous, handing out $0.60 per share.
The just-declared dividend annualizes to $2.64 per share. That yields 3.2% at NextEra Energy's current stock price of $83.50.
The company is scheduled to release its Q3 results before market open on Nov. 1.
