BorgWarner Keeps Dividend Steady

Updated

Automotive emissions specialist BorgWarner announced today its third-quarter dividend of $0.25 per share, the same rate it paid last quarter after reinstating its dividend. BorgWarner suspended the dividend in 2009 due to an "unprecedented discontinuity in the marketplace" at the time.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Nov. 15 to the holders of record at the close of business on Nov. 1. The regular dividend payment equates to a $1.00-per-share annual dividend, yielding 1% based on the closing price today of BorgWarner's stock.
