Zynga Co-Founder to Leave Company

In the latest in a series of notable departures, one of the co-founders of Zynga is leaving the company. Justin Waldron announced in a Facebook post that he will part ways with the firm, writing "I've decided it's time to leave zynga and venture off on my own again." He did not elaborate.

Waldron's is the latest departure for the online games maker, which has seen several high-level figures leave its employ. Among these are Chief Operating Officer John Schappert, Chief Creative Officer Mark Verdu, and Chief Game Designer Brian Reynolds. This past July, the company also replaced its CEO, bringing in former Microsoft Interactive Entertainment President Don Mattrick to fill the position.

Waldron's fellow co-founder Mark Pincus remains at the firm, serving as its chief product officer and chairman of the board of directors.
