Citigroup Maintains $0.01-Per-Share Dividend

Citigroup is sticking to its existing dividend policy for the time being. The massive bank has declared a quarterly common stock distribution of $0.01 per share, to be dispensed on November 22 to shareholders of record as of November 4. That amount keeps the payout in line with all of its predecessors stretching back to February 2009.

The company, which was hard-hit by last decade's financial crisis, reinstated its dividend in March 2011 after a more than two-year hiatus.

The just-declared distribution annualizes to $0.04 per share. That yields less than 0.1% at Citigroup's most recent closing stock price of $51.12.
