Sherwin-Williams Keeps Dividend Steady

Paint manufacturer Sherwin-Williams announced today its third-quarter dividend of $0.50 per share, the same rate it's paid for the past three quarters after raising the payout 28% from $0.39 per share.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Dec. 6 to the holders of record at the close of business on Nov. 15. The regular dividend payment equates to a $2.00-per-share annual dividend, yielding 1.1% based on the closing price today of Sherwin-Williams' stock.
