Regions Financial Declares Fresh Dividends

Regions Financial continues to pull shareholder payouts from its vault. The financial services company has declared a pair of dividends, most notably a $0.03 per share common stock distribution. This will be dispensed next January 2 to shareholders of record as of December 13. That amount matches both of the firm's two preceding distributions, the most recent of which was paid at the beginning of this month. Prior to that, Regions Financial handed out $0.01 per share.

The company also declared a dividend on its series A preferred stock. Holders of that security will receive $15.9375 per share on December 16, provided they are in possession of their stock as of December 2.

The just-declared common stock dividend annualizes to $0.12 per share. That yields 1.2% at Regions Financial's current stock price of $9.79.
