Apple has hired Burberry CEO Angela Ahrendts to a senior VP role within the company, tasked with heading the company's retail efforts. In the lead story on today's Investor Beat, Jason and Matt discuss the hire and whether they would buy on the news.

Then, they take a look at four stocks making big moves today. Johnson & Johnson delivers third-quarter profits that were higher than expected, thanks to strong revenue from its drug division. Coca-Cola's third-quarter profits rose 6%, though it lost ground in sales in some key international regions. Shares of J.C. Penney hit their lowest point since 1982. And Teradata fell hard today after warning about upcoming earnings. The company also announced that it's running out of cash.


Finally, Jason and Matt discuss why they'll be keeping a close eye on shares of Mattel and eBaythis week.
