JOPLIN, Mo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Empire District Electric Company (NYS: EDE) will hold its quarterly conference call to discuss the results for the third quarter and twelve months ended September 30, 2013 on Friday, November 1, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time (12:00 p.m. Central). The conference call will follow the Company's earnings news release, which will be available on Thursday, October 31, 2013.
