Aura Receives a VIPER Order from Israel and Also Moves to a Larger Facility in Redondo Beach, California
REDONDO BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Aura Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: AUSI) announced today that it received approximately $100,000 contract from a major defense contractor in Israel for a special application of the VIPER for the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF). A second part of the contract for approximately the same amount is expected to follow shortly. The order was released to the Company after a lengthy qualification process. The Company is now a qualified supplier to the major Israeli defense contractor.
Aura has also just completed the move of its headquarters and main operations from approximately 30,000 square feet to approximately 70,000 square feet. The new facility is at 4000 Redondo Beach Avenue in Redondo Beach, California. The move to the new larger facility is in anticipation of the potential for a significant increase in business activities in the coming year.

It took considerable amount of time to become a qualified supplier to this major company due to their very strict quality and performance requirements. We are currently also bidding on a numerous possibilities jointly with Israeli defense contractors. No assurances can be given as to when or if these will turn into contracts."
