Will the 2014 Jeep Cherokee Ever Make It?

The new Jeep Cherokee hasn't even arrived at dealers, and already it has drawn a storm of complaints and controversy. Cherokee is a hallowed name in Jeep history, and there are plenty of Jeep fans who don't think this new vehicle can live up to its legacy. A lot of those complaints start with the new Cherokee's unusual styling, which some say was too heavily influenced by Italian automaker Fiat , which controls Chrysler nowadays.


But the latest complaint is a biggie: The Cherokee was supposed to arrive at dealers last spring, but it's still not available. As Fool contributor John Rosevear explains in this video, the 2014 Cherokee has been held up for month by technical problems -- a delay that says both good and bad things about where Jeep and Chrysler are right now.
