Northwest Natural Gas Raises Dividend

Natural gas provider Northwest Natural Gasannounced yesterday its third-quarter dividend of $0.46 per share, a 1% increase in the payout made to investors last quarter of $0.455 per share. Northwest has increase the dividend for 58 consecutive years.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Nov. 15 to the holders of record at the close of business on Oct. 31. The regular dividend payment equates to a $1.84-per-share annual dividend, yielding 4.4% based on the closing price Friday of Northwest Natural Gas' stock.
