Stanley Black & Decker Keeps Dividend Steady

Hand-and-power-tool maker Stanley Black & Deckerannounced today its fourth-quarter dividend of $0.50 per share, the same rate it paid last quarter after raising the payout to investors 2%, from $0.49 per share.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Dec. 10 to the holders of record at the close of business on Dec. 6. The regular dividend payment equates to a $2.00-per-share annual dividend, yielding 2.2% based on the closing price today of Stanley Black & Decker's stock.
