Caterpillar Maintains Dividend
Caterpillar's common stock investors will receive their next dividend in November. The company has declared a quarterly distribution of $0.60 per share, to be paid on the 20th of that month to shareholders of record as of October 21. That amount matches the firm's previous payout, which was dispensed in August. Prior to that, Caterpillar handed out $0.52 per share.
The firm is an extremely steady and consistent dividend payer. In the press release announcing the upcoming distribution, it pointed out that it has maintained a quarterly disbursement since 1933.
The just-declared dividend annualizes to $2.40 per share. That yields 2.9% at Caterpillar's current stock price of $83.78.
The company is scheduled to release its Q3 results on Wednesday, October 23.
