Green Dot Names New CFO

Pasadena, Calif.-based, Green Dot has a new CFO.

On Tuesday, Green Dot announced that it has hired JPMorganChase executive Grace Wang to become its new chief financial officer. The Harvard MBA and former JPMorgan managing director and chief financial officer of investor services sales for Europe, Middle East, and Africa will move to her new job at Green Dot on Nov. 18.

In a statement on the hire, Green Dot CEO Steve Streit asserted that Wang "brings the right combination of brilliance, intellectual curiosity, executive leadership and specific experience in the banking and financial services domain." For her part, Wang said she is "excited to work closely with Steve and the team to continue to strengthen Green Dot's growth prospects and further drive operational efficiencies to maximize value for our investors and other stakeholders."
