Aruba Networks Teams with Ingram Micro to Expand Reach of Aruba's Entire Solutions Portfolio

Aruba's Key WLAN Products Including Cloud-Managed Wi-Fi Solution Now Available to Ingram Micro Channel Partners

SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Aruba Networks, Inc. (NAS: ARUN) , a leading provider of next-generation network access solutions for the mobile enterprise, today announced a new distribution relationship with Ingram Micro Inc. (NYS: IM) , the world's largest wholesale technology distributor and a global leader in IT supply-chain, mobile device lifecycle services and logistics solutions.

Under the terms of the agreement, Ingram Micro's Advanced Technology Division will market, sell and support Aruba's entire portfolio of wired and wireless access solutions, which includes Aruba's new Cloud Wi-Fi solution, to channel partners in the U.S. By teaming with Ingram Micro and leveraging its dedicated Networking and Security Business Unit, Aruba is better positioned to enable and support channel partners looking to capitalize on the significant, high-growth opportunities in the WLAN market, particularly around cloud-managed Wi-Fi. Furthermore, the relationship is set to bring greater brand and market awareness to Aruba's popular Instant controller-less access points and the recently-announced Aruba Central cloud management service.

Ingram Micro's extensive marketing, technical and sales expertise in networking, as well as key vertical markets such as K-12 and retail, will contribute greatly to Aruba's growth efforts and leadership within the cloud managed Wi-Fi space. To help ensure that Ingram Micro channel partners succeed with Aruba, the networking innovator is working closely with the Advanced Technology Division to offer an extensive set of sales and technical tools, as well as training and support resources to its mutual channel partners.

"Ingram Micro brings Aruba an expanded footprint of resellers and new opportunities that will help us reach the kinds of customers that are ideal for our entire portfolio of products, and target key growth areas like cloud-managed Wi-Fi," said Jim Harold, vice president, channel for Aruba Networks. "This new relationship with Ingram Micro is strategic to our growth as a company, because it gives us access to a channel that is primed for the solutions we offer and excited to add the value Aruba brings to their networking practices."

"We're seeing an increasing demand for an enterprise-grade, cloud-managed Wi-Fi solution within our channel partner community," said Eric Kohl, senior director, Advanced Technology Division, Ingram Micro U.S. "Aruba's new Cloud Wi-Fi offers the simplicity and scalability that our partners and their customers are looking for, and is a great addition to our growing portfolio of best-in-class networking solutions."
