There's no question the latest Ford Fusion sedan has been a great success for the company. Through September, sales of the new Fusion are up over 16% over those of its well-regarded predecessor. In fact, it has been so popular that the Fusion's factory has been overwhelmed by demand -- leading Ford to invest in a second assembly line for the handsome sedan.


But did Fusion sales really go up a whopping 62% in September? Yes and no: As Motley Fool industrials analyst Blake Bos and senior auto analyst John Rosevear explain in this video, September's huge increase was a fluke -- but real gains for the Fusion are likely in the near future.
