Time Warner Cable Kicks off #WinKansas Promotion for the Oct. 6 Sprint Cup Series Race
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- As part of its extended partnership with Hendrick Motorsports, Time Warner Cable is engaging customers via a social media campaign to get race fans to show their support for the No. 5 Time Warner Cable Chevy SS driven by Kasey Kahne and No. 88 Time Warner Cable Chevy SS driven by Dale Earnhardt Jr. in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway on Oct. 6.
The campaign includes a YouTube video with Earnhardt (http://youtu.be/_vhi98S0RXg) encouraging fans to follow @TWC on Facebook and tweet #WinKansas for a chance to win signed merchandise from him and his Hendrick Motorsports teammate Kahne.
As part of its promotion, Time Warner Cable customers in the Kansas City area had the chance to enter to be an honorary member of Kahne's No. 5 Time Warner Cable team. One lucky winner and a guest received two tickets to the upcoming race in Kansas City on Oct. 6, an intimate meet and greet with Kahne, guided tours of the garage and pit areas with special insider access and the opportunity to watch a portion of the race atop the No. 5 pit box with crew chief Kenny Francis. Three additional first prize winners were selected from all entries which also included tickets and special access.
Time Warner Cable will be primary sponsor of the No. 5 Chevy SS team with Kahne for five Sprint Cup Series races in both 2014 and 2015.
