Synovus Declares Preferred Dividend

Financial services specialist Synovus Financialannounced today its board of directors declared a dividend of $0.525 per share on its Series C fixed-to-floating rate non-cumulative perpetual preferred stock issued on July 25.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on November 1 to holders of record at the close of business on October 15.

Synovus also pays a dividend on its common stock of $0.04 per share per year, yielding 1.2% based on the closing price today of Synovus Financial's stock.
