MoSys to Present Solutions for Packet Processor Offload Scalable to 1 Terabit Line Cards at the Linley Tech Processor Conference 2013

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- MoSys, Inc. (NAS: MOSY) :

Who:

MoSys (NAS: MOSY) , a leader in semiconductor solutions that enable fast, intelligent data access for network and communications systems, is presenting at The Linley Group's Linley Tech Processor Conference 2013.

In his presentation, "Feature-Rich 1Tbps Packet Processing Through Intelligent Offload and Storage," MoSys' VP of Technology Innovation and System Applications, Michael Miller, will discuss how system power and package interconnect bottlenecks to off-chip memory can limit the number of features achievable in tomorrow's network processor implementations.

MoSys® Bandwidth Engine® discrete chip solution provides high-access rates using the GigaChip™ Interface and accelerates performance by more than 4x through intelligent offload of counters, metering functions, semaphores and transactional memory operations for link-list management. These types of intelligent offload capabilities enable higher performance and features for line cards heading to Terabit rates.

What:

The Linley Tech Processor Conference explores processors for enterprise- and carrier-communications systems. This in-depth technical conference has become the industry's premier event and will feature a number of new product announcements. In addition to over 20 technical presentations by experts from the companies leading the industry, the two-day dual-track conference program will include special keynote sessions covering technology and market trends in communications systems as well as presentations on the latest processor chips, processor IP and other technology required to efficiently process packets of information in enterprise and carrier applications. Additional topics include security and high-performance memories for networking. Attendees will have an opportunity to speak directly to company experts and the Linley analyst team.

When:

The Linley Tech Processor Conference takes place October 16-17, 2013.

Where:

Hyatt Regency Santa Clara

5101 Great America Parkway

Santa Clara, California 95054
