You never know what the night will bring. Sgt. Steven Griswold, a police officer in southeast Kansas City thought he was responding to a disabled motorist call on Saturday night. But when he arrived on the bridge at 3 Trails Crossing, he had no time to think. Just enough to grab and save the driver from toppling to a 60-foot plunge.
"I came. He jumped. I caught him. Done. We got him the help he needed," said the self-effacing police sergeant.
