Silicon Motion Maintains Dividend

Silicon Motion Technology is keeping its dividend in motion. The company has declared a quarterly distribution of $0.15 per American depositary share, to be paid on November 8 to shareholders of record as of November 1. That amount matches all three of its previous dividends, the most recent of which was paid at the beginning of August.

Each of the company's ADSes is equivalent to four of its ordinary shares. On a per-share basis, therefore, the disbursement amounts to $0.0375.

The just-declared dividend annualizes to $0.60 per ADS. That yields 4.5% at Silicon Motion's most recent closing ADS price of $13.41.
