Monmouth Real Estate Investment Declares a Set of Dividends

Monmouth Real Estate Investment has decided not to veer from its long-standing common stock dividend policy. The real estate investment trust declared a quarterly distribution for the security of $0.15 per share, which is to be paid on Dec. 16 to shareholders of record as of Nov. 15. That amount matches all of the firm's preceding payouts stretching back to March 2006. Before that, Monmouth handed out $0.145 per share.

The REIT also declared disbursements for its series A and B preferred shares. These are to be $0.4765625 and $0.4921875 per share, respectively. Both share the same record and payment dates as those of the common stock.

The just-declared common stock dividend annualizes to $0.60 per share. That yields 6.6% at Monmouth's most recent closing stock price of $9.13.
