Bank of the Ozarks Raises Dividend 11%

Bank holding company Bank of the Ozarksannounced today its third-quarter dividend of $0.21 per share, a 10.5% increase from the amount paid to investors last quarter of $0.19 per share. The bank holding company has increased its quarterly dividend in 15 of the past 16 quarters, including the past 13 consecutive quarters.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Oct. 18 to the holders of record at the close of business on Oct. 11. The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.84-per-share annual dividend, yielding 1.7% based on the closing price today of Bank of the Ozarks' stock.
