Ingles Markets Keeps Dividends Steady

Ingles Markets is continuing to load dividends into its shopping cart. The company has declared its latest Class A and B common stock distributions, which are to be $0.165 and $0.15 per share, respectively. The payment date is Oct. 24 for shareholders of record as of Oct. 10. Those amounts match the previous pair of payouts.

The Class A dividend has been a stalwart for the company. It has paid the same $0.165 for that class of security since December 1993.

The company also recently declared a special dividend of $0.66 per share on Class A stock and $0.60 per share for Class B. Both were paid in late December of last year.

The just-declared Class A dividend annualizes to $0.66 per share. That yields 2.3% at Ingles Markets' current stock price of $28.97.
