A Super-Powered Start for "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Means Great Things for Disney Stock

Marvel isn't just magic at the box office. The comic-book king's characters win on TV, too, says Fool contributor Tim Beyers in the following video.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. drew 11.9 million viewers and a 4.6 ratings share in the key 18-49 demographic, tying the NBC reality show competition The Voice. That's a huge win, Tim says.

Sure, CBS's hit drama NCIS had the largest audience at 19 million viewers. Most observers expected that. In attracting an audience of 12 million, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has established itself as a serious primetime contender.

That's cause for celebration at Marvel parent Walt Disney , which wants to see the Marvel Universe expand across media. Should you be buying Disney stock now? What should investors be watching for next? Tim answers these questions and more in the video. Please click now to watch.
