AZZ is not letting disappointing quarterly results get in the way of its shareholder payout. The company has declared its latest quarterly common stock dividend, which is to be $0.14 per share paid on October 25 to shareholders of record as of October 11. That amount matches each of the firm's four preceding distributions, the most recent of which was paid at the end of July.
The just-declared dividend annualizes to $0.56 per share. That yields 1.3% at AZZ's most recent closing stock price of $42.23.
News of the upcoming distribution was released along with the company's Q2 results. These missed analyst projections, while the firm's guidance for Q3 came in significantly below outside estimates.
