MFA Financial Maintains Dividend
MFA Financial is continuing to draw a shareholder payout from its coffers. The real estate investment trust has declared its latest quarterly common stock dividend, which is to be $0.22 per share paid on October 31 to shareholders of record as of October 11. That amount matches both of the firm's previous two regular distributions, the most recent of which was paid at the end of July. Prior to that, MFA Financial was less generous, handing out $0.20 per share.
The firm also has a habit of paying special dividends. The last time it did so was at the end of last month, with a $0.28 per share distribution.
The just-declared dividend annualizes to $0.88 per share. That yields 11.8% at MFA Financial's most recent closing stock price of $7.48.
