California's City of Temecula Chooses Tyler Technologies' EnerGov®Planning, Permitting and Licensing Solution

Temecula selects Tyler's EnerGov to increase transparency and access for residents and customers

PLANO, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYS: TYL) has signed an agreement with the city of Temecula, Calif., to implement Tyler's EnerGov® planning, permitting and licensing solution. The agreement includes related professional services, training and support.


After a competitive request for proposal process, the city selected Tyler's EnerGov Web-based automation platform for its comprehensive end-to-end permitting and licensing software solutions. Temecula will use EnerGov to provide enhanced online access to services, improve customer service and streamline workflows for increased staff efficiencies.

"Purchasing Tyler's EnerGov solution supports the city's vision and goal of providing a permitting process that will be effective, cost-efficient, provide better connected data, assist with collaboration and promote transparency," said Michael Heslin, Temecula's deputy director of information technology. "We expect improved economic growth with EnerGov through an enhanced user experience while ensuring adherence to local regulations and policies for community development."

Between 2000 and 2012, the total population of the city of Temecula increased by approximately 45,000 reaching a current population of more than 103,000. Temecula is located in Riverside County, the fourth-most populous county in California.
