Cooper Tire Expands with New Sales Office in Moscow

FINDLAY, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Cooper Tire announced the establishment of a sales office in Moscow. The office is headed by Sales Manager Alex Kolkov, who joined the Cooper Tire family after serving in leadership positions at multinational companies with sales and production facilities in Russia, including Paulig Rus LLC and Sappi.

"Russia holds great opportunity as Cooper continues to build our customer base throughout the region," said Jeff Schumaker, Managing Director for Cooper Tire Europe. "With the acquisition of the Cooper Serbia production facility in Kruševac, Serbia, which began operating just over a year ago, Cooper products can be brought to the market and better meet customer needs through the new sales office. Cooper Tire is committed long term to the Russian market and looks forward to maintaining its existing customer relationships and establishing new ones in the region."
