Do You Believe in Business Automation Miracles? SciQuest Announces Mike Eruzione as NextLevel 2014 Keynote Speaker

CARY, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- SciQuest (NAS: SQI) , a leading provider of cloud-based business automation solutions for spend management, today announced that Mike Eruzione will deliver the keynote address at NextLevel 2014. NextLevel, a premiere event for the spend management industry, is designed to help purchasing and finance professionals from across the country gather to collaborate and discuss the issues driving strategic spend management. Registration is now open for the event, which will take place February 23-26, 2014 at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

Mike Eruzione is widely known as the heroic captain of the 1980 United States Men's Olympic Hockey team who scored the winning goal against the heavily favored Russian team on the way to securing the gold medal for America in Lake Placid, NY. His game-winning goal and the victory it fueled became known and celebrated as "The Miracle on Ice," one of the greatest sporting moments in United States history.

The 1980 Olympic Team, led by Eruzione, was inducted into the United States Olympic Hall of Fame. In 2004, he and his teammates were featured in the Disney movie Miracle. After the 1980 Olympics, Eruzione enjoyed a long and distinguished broadcasting career. He is currently employed by Boston University as the Director of Special Outreach.

For the past several years, Mike Eruzione has traveled throughout the country representing major corporations as their spokesperson and/or motivational speaker. In keeping with the NextLevel theme, Quest for the Best, Eruzione will deliver a keynote presentation addressing teamwork, overcoming adversity, goal orientation and achieving success - issues at the core of any good procurement, finance, or legal department.

"Over the past several years we've seen NextLevel evolve from a simple user conference into one of the signature events in our industry," said Stacy West, vice president of marketing and communications for SciQuest. "NextLevel has become a venue for professionals to get inspired and educated as well as share their successes and challenges. We continue to find new ways to deliver value to attendees."
