Bougdanos Joins RBF as VP-Los Angeles Area Transportation Manager
LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- RBF Consulting (RBF), a Company of Michael Baker Corporation (NYSE MKT:BKR), has announced that Gene Bougdanos, P.E., has joined the firm as vice president and Transportation manager for the Los Angeles market. From RBF's Los Angeles office, Bougdanos will continue to expand RBF's transportation/public works presence in the region. His industry knowledge and relationships will also aid Bougdanos in serving as a liaison to other RBF disciplines such as Water Resources, Surface Water, Land Development, Environmental Planning, GIS and Surveying.

Bougdanos has a strong background with infrastructure improvements in Los Angeles. Recent career highlights within the region include assisting in the successful pursuits of Metro's $1.3 billion Crenshaw/LAX Transit Corridor Project and the Sixth Street Viaduct Replacement for the City of Los Angeles.
Bougdanos has 30 years of transportation industry experience. He possesses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University and a Masters of Business Administration Degree from San Francisco State University. He is a registered Professional Engineer in California, as well as an active State Director and Past President of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), Los Angeles County Chapter.
