Horizon Bancorp Raises Dividend 10%

Independent commercial bank holding company Horizon Bancorpannounced today its third-quarter dividend of $0.11 per share, a 10% increase over the payout made to investors last quarter of $0.10 per share.

The board of directors said the quarterly dividend is payable on Oct. 11 to the holders of record at the close of business on Sept. 27. The regular dividend payment equates to a $0.44-per-share annual dividend, yielding 1.9% based on the closing price today of Horizon Bancorp's stock.
