MoSys to Showcase LineSpeed 100G Gearbox and Retimer PHYs and Bandwidth Engine Packet Processing Accelerators at ECOC 2013

MoSys to Participate in OIF Interoperability 2013 - Enabling the Next-Generation of 100G Architectures

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- MoSys, Inc. (NAS: MOSY) :

Who:

MoSys (NAS: MOSY) , a leader in semiconductor solutions that enable fast, intelligent data access for network and communications systems, is exhibiting at ECOC 2013 in booth #462. MoSys will feature its latest LineSpeed™ and Bandwidth Engine® product families, which enable high-density networking line cards to scale to 400 Gigabits per second (Gbps) and beyond.

MoSys will show its LineSpeed 100G Multi-Mode Gearbox, which supports high-density 10G, 40G and 100G OTN and Ethernet interfaces in networking line card and optical module applications, and its recently announced LineSpeed 100G Quad Retimer for line cards, backplanes, copper cables and optics modules requiring high density 100G capacity. Booth demonstrations will also include interoperability with leading FPGAs using Bandwidth Engine 2 high-speed, low latency 12.5G serial interfaces to access the devices' high-speed, intelligent memory cores.

In parallel, MoSys is participating in OIF Interoperability 2013 at the Optical Internetworking Forum (OIF) #booth 360 where OIF member companies will unite under the banner of the Optical Internetworking Forum to showcase multi-vendor participation in OIF Interoperability 2013 - Enabling the Next-Generation of 100G Architectures. The OIF's Physical and Link Layer demonstration addresses multiple technologies, including CEI-28G-VSR chip-to-module interfaces for CFP2 and QSFP28 pluggable module form factors, CEI-25G-LR backplane applications and module thermal specifications that enable 100G capabilities. A public demonstration of the event will be on display September 23-25, 2013 at ECOC in London, OIF booth #360.
