Beam Keeps Dividend Steady

Liquor giant Beam has announced plans to keep its dividend steady this quarter at $0.225 per share of common stock. The company has paid this amount to investors since March 2013, after boosting its payout 11% from $0.205 per share. The latest quarterly dividend from Beam will be payable on Dec. 2 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on Nov. 6.

Beam's dividend adds up to $0.90 per share, on an annualized basis. As of the market's close on Sept. 18, the spirits distributor's stock was trading at $66.92 per share. This means the company currently has a 1.3% dividend yield.
