Arlington Asset Investment Declares Q3 Dividend

Arlington Asset Investment is continuing to set aside some of its cash for shareholder payouts. The company has declared a dividend of $0.875 per share for its Q3, to be paid on Oct. 31 to shareholders of record as of Sept. 30. That amount matches all of the company's preceding payouts stretching back to July 2011. Before that, Arlington dispensed $0.750 per share.

Since dispensing its first dividend in April 2010, the company has handed out a distribution in every quarter. It has ranged from $0.35 per share to the present level.

The just-declared dividend annualizes to $3.50 per share. That yields 13.5% at Arlington's most recent closing stock price of $25.91.
