Virginia Heritage Bank Hires Alan G. Drewer
TYSONS CORNER, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Virginia Heritage Bank (OTCBB: VGBK), recently announced Alan G. Drewer joined their company and will serve as Chief Real Estate Lending Officer. Mr. Drewer will report to David Summers, Chairman and CEO, and be responsible for real estate lending to the local business community with a special emphasis on commercial and residential construction financing. He will work out of their Tysons Corner main office and have a market responsibility within the Washington, DC, metro area.
Prior to joining Virginia Heritage Bank (VHB), Mr. Drewer worked most recently as Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending, at The Business Bank in Vienna, VA. From June 1999 to July 2012, he worked for First Horizon National Corporation in Fairfax, VA, most recently as Senior Vice President, Regional Manager where he supervised Market Managers responsible for a loan portfolio in excess of $700 million, orchestrated the expansion of the Northeast region footprint from two offices to 11 over a three year period, and developed and maintained a significant loan portfolio. Other relevant experience spanning approximately twenty years includes management responsibilities at Mellon Bank of New York, Chevy Chase Bank, First American Bank of Virginia, and Franey, Parr, & Muha.

Mr. Drewer is a graduate of the College of William and Mary. He finished advanced studies at the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. He has three children and has been married 17 years.
