BioMed Realty Declares Q3 Dividend
BioMed Realty Trust investors will receive their next shareholder payout in mid-October. The medical sector real estate investment trust has declared a quarterly common stock dividend of $0.235 per share for its Q3. This is to be paid on October 15 to shareholders of record as of September 30. That amount matches each of the REIT's three previous distributions, the most recent of which was paid in July. Prior to that, BioMed Realty handed out $0.215 per share.
The company has been a solid and reliable dividend payer for nearly a decade. Since first dispensing a payout in October 2004, its distribution has ranged from $0.11 to $0.335.
The just-declared dividend annualizes to $0.94 per share. That yields just under 5% at BioMed Realty's most recent closing stock price of $18.95.
