Zoetis Keeps Dividend Steady

Pfizer's former animal health business, Zoetis , has announced plans to pay a fourth-quarter dividend of $0.065 per share to stockholders. This is the company's second dividend.

The company has paid the same amount since commencing dividend payments in June 2013, after become a public company in February of this year. Zoetis's latest dividend will be payable on Dec. 2 to shareholders of record on Nov. 1.

On an annualized basis, Zoetis's payout totals to $0.26 per share of common stock. As of the market's close on Sept. 12, the animal health care company's stock was trading at $31.08. This means its dividend currently has a yield of 0.8%.
