General Electric Keeping Dividend Steady

General Electric's Board of Directors has declared a quarterly dividend of $0.19 per share.

The company has paid this same amount to investors since December 2012, after upping its payout by $0.02, or 11.7%, from $0.17. GE's latest quarterly dividend will be payable on Oct. 25 to shareholders of record as of Sept. 23.

On an annualized basis, GE's dividend payout comes to $0.76 per share of common stock. As of the market's close on Sept. 12, the company had a stock price of $23.85, which means GE's current dividend has a yield of 3.2%.
