Dow Chemical Declares Fresh Dividend
One of the steadiest and most reliable dividend payers on the market is keeping its long payout streak alive. Dow Chemical has declared a quarterly distribution of $0.32 per share, to be handed out on October 30 to shareholders of record as of September 30. That amount matches each of the storied firm's previous five payouts, the most recent of which was dispensed at the end of July.
In the press release announcing the news, Dow Chemical didn't shy away from mentioning that the upcoming payout will be its 408th in a row.
The just-declared dividend annualizes to $1.28 per share. That yields 3.3% at the company's most recent closing stock price of $38.86.
