DNA Brands Adds Four New Distributors Covering Five States

Newly Rebranded DNA Energy Drinks Can Now Also Be Found in Michigan, Missouri, Illinois, Arkansas and Mississippi

BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- DNA Brands, Inc. (OTCQB:"DNAX") makers of DNA Energy Drink, the winner of the 2010 and 2012 "World's Best Tasting Energy Drink" title announced that it has already sold a significant portion of its initial July 2013 production run of 50,000 cases of new flavors in its newly designed cans. These flavors include the award winning Cellular Citrus, Cellular Citrus-Zero Sugar, Cryo Berry, Molecular Melon and Original DNA.

More than 500 Circle-K and Race Trac convenience stores located in the State of Florida alone began selling the "new" DNA products in mid-July. In addition DNA Brands entered into new distribution agreements expanding DNA's presence in five new states cumulatively servicing more than 3,000 stores. DNA has entered into agreements and shipped all five of its new flavors to Energy Beverage Sales, LLC, located in Michigan, Hooper Sales in Arkansas, Hooper Sales in Mississippi and Southern Illinois Beverage servicing Southern Illinois and Missouri.

Steve Gammo, President of Energy Beverage Sales stated, "Our customers have reacted very favorably to DNA's new energy drink flavors. Usually it takes a considerable amount of time for a new brand to get traction and gain the recognition necessary to be successful. That wasn't the case with us. In fact, we quickly sold out of our first order of 5 pallets and as a result placed a second order for an entire truckload within a week's time."

"The initial favorable consumer reaction to our new energy drink flavors is encouraging," said Eric Fowler, DNA's Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "The process of setting up new distribution channels is well underway and we are confident that we are building a foundation for widespread distribution and increased revenue generation from our new lines. While no assurances can be provided, we estimate that revenue produced by these five new distributors should more than double our entire 2012 period. DNA has placed an initial order for the production of three new, ready-to-drink (RTD), energy coffee products scheduled to launch this fall. Initial reaction and distributor demand for DNA's new coffee drinks has far exceeded expectations." Fowler concluded, "We also anticipate that a second production order of energy drinks will be placed in the very near term to facilitate continued growth."
