Staples Keeps Steady Dividend
Office retailer Staples plans to pay a $0.12 quarterly dividend to investors this quarter.
The company has paid shareholders this amount since April 2013, after raising its payout a penny, or 9%. Staples' latest quarterly dividend will be available on Oct. 17 to shareholders of record as of Sept. 27.
Annualized, Staples' dividend adds up to $0.48 per share. The office supplier's stock was trading at $14.55 as of the market's close on Sept. 10, which means its dividend currently yields 3.3%.
