James Aslaksen and Andrew Talkington Join Firm in Chicago and Houston

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- CTPartners (NYSE MKT: CTP) announced today that Jim Aslaksen and Andy Talkington will join the firm as Vice Chairmen and Co-Leaders of the Industrial Practice. Mr. Aslaksen will be based in the Chicago office and Mr. Talkington in Houston.

Jim Aslaksen joins CTPartners from a major search firm where he was the Co-Global Sector Leader, Chemicals. With over 20 years in executive search, he has led more than 500 search assignments around the world at the C-suite and board levels with specific expertise in the chemical and process industries. Jim's clients include Fortune 500 and private equity portfolio companies, as well as venture backed start-ups. His corporate experience includes positions with Cytec, Dexter Corporation and Linde AG.

Andy Talkington has over 16 years of experience as a global search consultant placing Board of Directors, President/CEO and C-suite executives in the industrial field. His experience includes partnering with both public and private clients in the U.S., Europe, Middle East, Asia and Latin America. He joins CTPartners from a large global search firm where he was the Co-Global Sector Leader, Chemicals. Previously, Andy had been the Head of the Global Industrial Practice and the Head of the Chemicals and Natural Resources Practice for another major search firm. He has over 20 years of previous management experience in corporations including Occidental Petroleum Corporation and Olin Corporation.
