Allied World Assurance Company Holdings Keeps Dividend Steady

Allied World Assurance Company Holdings has announced plans to pay a $0.50 quarterly dividend to shareholders.

This is the same amount the insurance company has paid since July 2013, after boosting its payout 33% from $0.375 per share. The latest quarterly dividend will be payable on Oct. 3 to stockholders of record as of Sept. 24.

On an annualized basis, Allied World's dividend adds up to $2.00 per share of common stock. As of the market's close on Sept. 10, the company's stock was trading at $93.52, which means its dividend currently yields 2.1%.
