Stein Mart Declares Fresh Dividend

Stein Mart is ringing up another shareholder payout. The company has declared its latest quarterly dividend, which is to be $0.05 per share paid on October 18 to shareholders of record as of October 4. That amount matches the firm's previous distribution, which was handed out in July.

That preceding payout was a resumption of the company's regular quarterly dividend. It suspended such distributions in February 2008, saying at the time that the move would give the company "more flexibility as we navigate current industry conditions."

The just-declared dividend annualizes to $0.20 per share. That yields 1.6% at Stein Mart's current stock price of $12.76.
