Hill-Rom Declares Dividend, Boosts Share Buyback Program

Hill-Rom Holdings has declared a dividend of $0.1375 per share for its Q4, to be dispensed on Sept. 30 to shareholders of record as of Sept. 20. That amount matches the firm's previous distribution, which was paid at the end of June. Prior to that, the firm handed out $0.1250 per share.

The just-declared dividend annualizes to $0.55 per share. That yields 1.6% at Hill-Rom's current stock price of $35.05.

The company's board also authorized a $150 million expansion of its stock repurchase authorization, bringing the total up to $190 million. The initiative has no expiration date. Currently, Hill-Rom has nearly 58.7 million shares outstanding.
