FARMINGDALE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- HomeServe USA (HomeServe), a leading provider of home emergency repair service plans, today announced that Premier Heat PLUSTM Plan and Premier Heat & Cool PLUSTM Plan customers in the Northeast, including New York, Massachusetts and Rhode Island, should schedule their annual heating system tune-up now in preparation for fall and winter weather.

It's recommended that homeowners tune up their HVAC systems every year in advance of seasonal changes to ensure that the systems are operating as efficiently as possible. As a plan benefit for Premier PLUS customers, HomeServe will send a qualified technician to the customer's home to perform the annual tune-up as well as check the function and safety of the system at no extra charge.

In addition to the tune-up, Premier PLUS service plans provide peace of mind if a heating or cooling system breaks during the season. HomeServe customers avoid the hassle of finding a contractor in an emergency and receive priority response. All plan customers have access to its 24-hour emergency repair line. HomeServe will send a qualified, insured HVAC technician to fix covered repairs.

"We encourage our customers to take advantage of this benefit and call now to schedule a tune up for their heating system," said Tom Rusin, CEO of HomeServe USA. "At HomeServe we are committed to not only providing customers with repairs when they need it, but partnering with them to help keep their heating systems operating as efficiently as possible."

HomeServe offers service plans for water, sewer, electrical, HVAC and other home emergencies. All plan holders have the same access to a Repair Hotline that is accessible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to bring local, licensed and insured contractors right to their home for repairs. Service policies are available starting at under $5 a month.
