CBS Outdoor Americas Names New CEO

Leading up to the subsidiary's pending $100 million IPO and ultimately the divestiture of its ownership stake in CBS Outdoor Americas, CBS today announced the appointment of Jeremy Male as CEO of the outdoor advertising media business unit.

Male will take over in his new role "later this month," and will report to CBS president and CEO Leslie Moonves. Prior to joining CBS Outdoor Americas, its new leader was most recently CEO of France-based, outdoor advertiser JCDecaux's UK, Northern Europe and Australia division.

Moonves commented, "Having a seasoned and dynamic executive like Jeremy at the helm can only add to the strength and direction of this new, independent company, and we very much look forward to the contributions he will make in that regard."

CBS Outdoor has both traditional outdoor (billboard and transit) advertising properties and a network of digital displays and mobile offerings.

Additionally, CBS appointed longtime CBS Outdoor Americas employee Wally Kelly as its president and COO, the company said. Kelly has been with CBS Outdoor Americas for 17 years.
