Will Apple Have Any Surprises on Tuesday?

With Apple's September iPhone event just days away, investors want to know whether the Mac maker has anything else up its sleeve. The company remains highly susceptible to an incredibly active rumor mill, which tends to throw a wrench in its secretive ways. An iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C are virtually in the bag to make debuts, thanks to a healthy stream of supply-chain leaks.

Even though hardware details may be mostly known, the company still needs to answer a key strategic question of where the iPhone 5C will price, which will largely determine its chances of success in emerging markets. Investors would also be excited if Apple unveils carrier partnerships with China Mobile and NTT DoCoMo .
