Digital Benefits Marketplace to Provide Management of Benefit Costs for Credit Unions and More Options for Employees
ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Digital Benefits Marketplace (www.digitalbenefitsmarketplace.com) is partnering with the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues to offer a private benefits exchange option for their credit unions. Digital Benefit Advisors (DBA) (www.digitalbenefitadvisors.com), a division of Digital Insurance, will manage the private benefits exchange, giving credit union members and their employees access to a comprehensive array of offerings, expanded resources and expertise, while helping them better manage costs and navigate the complexities of health care reform. Access to the exchange, Digital Benefits Marketplace, will be offered through the leagues' benefits solution site: CUVitality.
"The collaboration between Digital and the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues is a testament to both organizations' commitment to provide a best-in-class employee benefits solution," says credit union employee benefits veteran David Martin, who serves as the managing principal of Digital's Credit Union Services team. "We'll advise members about the necessary adjustments they need to implement in their employee benefits packages and provide them with tools and resources to better understand the impact of health care reform."
Digital Benefit Advisors will work with the leagues to provide an extensive selection of benefits through the Marketplace. Offerings will include health, life, disability, accident, critical illness, long-term care, dental and vision insurance along with other products and services. The private exchange will open, Oct. 1, 2013 for plan dates effective Jan. 1, 2014.
"The Marketplace will empower our members and their staff to make better health insurance decisions," explains Diana Dykstra, leagues president and CEO. "With the support of Digital Benefit Advisors, the private benefits exchange will be a true online storefront offering a range of policies and plans from multiple carriers. It also will include a call center with licensed customer advocates to guide individuals through the selection process," adds Dykstra.
Digital Insurance has forged a strong relationship with credit unions, recently partnering with CUNA Mutual Group as their exclusive employee benefits solution for credit unions and forming a partnership with the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association (PCUA) in July.
